Issue 48: The front page of longevity medicine - curated by doctors, for doctors.
Hey Doc,
Last week in Berlin, i met some Longevity Docs friends at the Life Summit and I unveiled The Longevity Architect, a personal framework I’ve used for years to architect my own life. It’s now available to everyone for free here.

I’m now writing to you from Cannes, fresh from touring the Palais des Festivals and finalizing details for the Longevity Docs Summit. From Mediterranean lunch and market strolls to red carpets and beach runs - we’re making longevity not just a science, but a lifestyle.

And yesterday, a major milestone: we officially onboarded CLP01 the founding cohort of our Certified Longevity Physician™ program. 20 exceptional doctors from 9 countries.
I just want to say thank you to you all.
Happy Sunday!

The World’s First Certified Longevity Physician™ Program Has Officially Launched
First, thank you to the new faculty of the Longevity Docs Institute. By sharing your expertise and leading with purpose, you’re helping build the future of longevity medicine and inspiring a global movement that will change how we live, age, and care.
This week marks a historic milestone in medicine: the launch of the Certified Longevity Physician™ (CLP) program: the only physician-created, peer-reviewed certification in longevity medicine.
Our vision is clear: to establish the gold standard in evidence-based longevity medicine.
Our mission: to train and certify physicians in the most advanced, scientifically rigorous, and ethically grounded principles of care: combining cutting-edge science, clinical excellence, and real-world application to improve patient outcomes and extend human healthspan globally.
Exclusively for licensed physicians, the CLP sets a new benchmark: integrating the latest in aging biology, clinically validated protocols, and modern practice-building strategies to equip doctors to lead the future of care.
Our founding cohort includes 20 exceptional physicians from 9 countries from Mayo Clinic to Kaiser Permanente, from regenerative medicine pioneers to ICU leaders, all united by a shared purpose: to redefine modern medicine through longevity.
Why We're Different
MD/DO Only: Exclusively for licensed physicians. No coaches, no generalists, just real doctors shaping the future of medicine.
Designed by 15 World-Class Faculty: Created and taught by clinical experts and leaders with over 200 years of combined experience.
Peer-Reviewed by Practicing Physicians: Every module, protocol, and clinical tool is reviewed by our global faculty, ensuring real-world relevance, medical accuracy, and patient-centered application.
Selective Cohorts, Global Reach: Only 20 doctors admitted per cohort, fostering depth, trust, and lifelong collaboration.
Unbiased, Non-Commercial, Evidence-Based Protocols: Grounded in clinical outcomes — not sponsorships — our curriculum teaches you exactly what to test, track, and treat, based on real-world data from leading longevity physicians and practices.
Physician & Practice Growth Built In: Longevity medicine is more than biology. We help you build a thriving practice and a fulfilling career - with tools for business, service design, and personal growth.
100+ Hours of High-Impact Learning: Self-paced content, faculty panels, and expert guest lectures built to fit the schedule of busy physicians.

UK Doctors Mobilize on Peptides
This week’s most active and sensitive discussion came from our UK-based physicians navigating the uncertain regulatory landscape of peptide therapy.
The chat explored how to meet rising patient demand while staying compliant with UK regulations. Practitioners debated sourcing, ethical frameworks, and language used by existing clinics. A confidential subgroup was created to continue peer-to-peer discussions off the main thread.
“Peptides are technically for research, but patients are asking for them, we need guidance.”
“Let’s approach the MHRA with a collective voice, a steering group could help.”
“We have to be cautious. Even wording on clinic websites can be a liability.”
Why it matters:
This reflects a broader global tension: clinical innovation outpacing regulation. The UK case could become a model for physician-led advocacy in other regions.
What to watch
Formation of a UK Peptide Steering Group to engage regulators like the MHRA
Increased interest in international sourcing, ethical guidelines, and collective negotiation
Emerging demand for educational resources on compliant peptide use
Bottom Line
Longevity Docs does not endorse unregulated treatments. However, we strongly support the need for more published clinical data, peer-reviewed evidence, and real-world patient outcomes to guide the responsible integration of emerging therapies like peptides.
We encourage our community to share knowledge transparently, ask critical questions, and contribute to a culture of evidence-based medicine. For those navigating peptide use in regulated environments, always consult legal counsel and local regulatory authorities.
Our role is to foster collaboration and scientific rigor, not risk. Let’s lead with data, integrity, and care.

Menopause & Rapamycin: The VIBRANT Study
📄 Study: Columbia OBGYN 2024 Annual Report – VIBRANT Study
📍Shared by: Dr. Florence Comite
A small human trial investigating weekly 5mg rapamycin to delay menopause. Early signs point to potential fertility preservation and hormone stability. Clinicians chimed in with animal data, dosing experiences, and the implications for women’s longevity.
Reframing NAD+ Decline
📄 Paper: Cell Metabolism: “Reframing NAD+ Decline”
📍Shared by: Dr. Elizabeth Yurth
The article suggests that declining NAD+ levels are a downstream effect of upstream cellular damage, not the root cause. The paper challenges the overreliance on NAD+ supplementation alone and calls for addressing metabolic stressors directly.
Personalized Nutrition via Biomarkers
📄 Study: PLoS Medicine: “Metabolic Responses to Food Are Personal”
📍Shared by: Dr. Desmond Ebanks
A landmark study validating how individual responses to the same foods vary widely, advocating for biomarker-based food scoring systems rather than generalized dietary labels.
The Social Nature of Mitochondria
📄 Paper: "The Social Nature of Mitochondria: Implications for Human Health"
📍Shared by: Dr. Molly Maloof
We track the week’s most strategic moves in innovation, funding, product launches, and talent shifts. This is not just to report them, but to help doctors stay informed, ahead, and equipped to adapt as the field evolves.
Because the future of longevity medicine is being built in real time and you deserve a front-row seat.
Throne Raises $4M to Revolutionize Precision Toileting
Smart toilet startup Throne just closed a $4 million seed round to bring at-home biomarker tracking to the bathroom. Their goal? Passive, daily health insights through stool and urine analysis — no user friction required. Think continuous glucose monitoring, but for everything else.
Why it matters:
This signals rising VC interest in seamless diagnostics. If successful, Throne could anchor the bathroom as the next frontier of preventative health — with data that longevity physicians could soon integrate into remote care.
Meet Biograph: NYC’s Newest Boutique Longevity Clinic
Biograph just opened its doors in New York’s SoHo, offering a concierge-based, full-spectrum longevity experience — from diagnostics and hormone optimization to IV therapy and genomics. The clinic is co-founded by physicians and wellness entrepreneurs targeting high-performing, health-optimizing urbanites.
Why it matters:

SevenO Capital to Open Longevity Hub in Singapore
Private equity firm SevenO Capital is investing in a multi-disciplinary Wellness & Longevity Hub in Singapore. The space will include clinics, diagnostics, movement spaces, retail, and an investment fund — positioning Singapore as a global center for healthy aging innovation.
Why it matters:
Singapore continues to emerge as Asia’s longevity capital. With government support and investor confidence, it’s a model for what high-functioning, integrated longevity hubs could look like — and a potential blueprint for global replication.
Midi Health Launches Longevity Program for Women - Covered by Insurance
Midi Health has launched the first-ever insurance-covered longevity program tailored specifically to women over 40, combining clinical expertise with personalized care plans across hormone health, sleep, weight, and aging.
