Longevity Docs v1.0 (Beta Launch) • Cologuard vs Colonoscopy • MOTS-c & Aging Research • WHOOP Labs
Issue 63: The front page of longevity medicine - curated by doctors, for doctors.
Hey Doc,
3 things I’m excited about today:
Longevity Docs Platform v1.0 (Beta). We’ve launched the foundation of our Operating System for longevity medicine: a central hub where physicians can connect, learn, and grow their practice.
Virtual Mastermind is back. After high demand, we’re opening live and recorded virtual access so doctors worldwide can join. Our goal is to increase the speed of knowledge-sharing in longevity medicine.
Market signals. The field is moving faster than ever: Hims is scaling HRT, WHOOP is adding labs to wearable data, TruDiagnostic is going direct-to-consumer, and scientists are building more powerful biological clocks.
Most of all, I’m grateful for the weeks ahead, meeting our community in New York, Miami, and Austin.
Healthy sunday!

Launching Longevity Docs Platform v1.0 – Beta Access
Longevity medicine is one of the fastest-growing fields in healthcare; but until now, it has lacked a true home. Physicians interested in evidence-based protocols, clinical education, and collaboration have been scattered across societies, events, and informal WhatsApp groups. The result? Knowledge silos, fragmented practice, and missed opportunities to grow as a collective.
We’re soft-launching the Longevity Docs Platform: the first physician-only hub for longevity medicine. Think of it as your single destination to connect, learn, and grow your practice.
This beta release is the foundation of what will become the central hub for doctors shaping the future of longevity medicine. It’s not perfect yet, but it’s live, and it’s growing with you. Discovers our ecosystem:
Mission: Connecting the Docs
We exist to democratize evidence-based longevity medicine by connecting doctors through community, education, and events, while honoring our commitment to the Hippocratic Oath.
Meet Hippo, our new mascot: a homage to Hippocrates, reimagined for the modern age of AI, biotech, and culture. Medicine is evolving rapidly, but our mission remains intact: helping people live better lives, no matter where they live.
Community
A private membership network where physicians can connect, share protocols, and access resources. A streamlined dashboard makes it easier to manage accounts, invoices, and registrations.
Education
Browse all our programs in one place (from expert classes to masterclasses) and join the Certified Longevity Doctor™ (CLD) certification directly through the platform.
Events
One-click booking for masterminds, summits, tables, and retreats, plus a global longevity conference calendar to track every major event worldwide.
News & Analysis
Direct access to our weekly newsletter, editorial insights, and event summaries; so you never miss the latest research, protocols, and conversations shaping longevity medicine.
Services
A hub for advisory, research, concierge, and talent opportunities that support both clinical practice and industry partnerships.
This is only the beginning. Version 1.0 is our beta release. It’s not perfect, but it’s live, and it’s growing with you. We’ll continue to improve the experience and release new features to make longevity medicine easier, more connected, and more impactful.
👉 Explore the platform, become a member, get certified, or join our events.

Every week, the Longevity Docs WhatsApp group feels like a front-row seat to the future of medicine. Here’s what had doctors buzzing:
Cologuard vs Colonoscopy Debate
Dr. Patel asked about Cologuard for a 49yo avoiding colonoscopy.
Active discussion on accuracy, NPV (95–99.9%), risk of missed cancers, new Cologuard Plus, FIT testing (UK), and Shield blood screening.
Concerns raised about microbiome disruption from colonoscopy; GI docs stressed the reason why colonoscopy is such a useful screening tool is because it catches the adenoma before it turns into cancer.
Microbiome & Probiotics Post-Colonoscopy
Discussions on whether probiotics help repopulation vs fermented foods being more effective.
Shared personal protocols: yogurt, kefir, prebiotics, SEED-DS-01, pendulum, BPC/KPV.
Ongoing skepticism around TMAO testing and clinical utility.
Mitochondrial Peptides (Humanin, MOTS-C, SS-31)
Active thread on clinical use in long COVID, aging, neurodegeneration.
Experiences with side effects (myalgia, PEM-like symptoms), dosing strategies, and sequencing peptides.
Concerns about peptide quality and sourcing.

Each week, I highlight a few studies that caught our eyes and could shape the future of longevity medicine.
Systems Age: a single blood methylation test to quantify aging heterogeneity across 11 physiological systems
Morgan Levine’s team developed a single blood-based methylation test that estimates biological aging across 11 physiological systems. This multisystem measure predicts mortality and health outcomes more precisely than existing epigenetic clocks, and reveals distinct aging patterns that could guide personalized gerotherapeutic and geroprotective interventions. Mitochondrial-Encoded Peptide MOTS-c, Diabetes, and Aging-Related Diseases
This review focuses mainly on recent advances in MOTS-c research with regards to diabetes, including both type 1 and type 2. The emerging understanding of MOTS-c in diabetes may provide insight into the development of new therapies for diabetes and other age or senescence-related diseases. DMJ
Association of Eating Window With Mortality Among US Adults: Insights From a Nationally Representative Study
Moderate eating windows (~11–12 h/day) are linked to the lowest mortality risk, with deviations associated with higher risk. Differences across demographic groups highlight the need for personalized guidance. Aging Cell

A booming longevity industry wants to sell us ‘immortality’. There could be hidden costs
If you could, would you pay to live forever? Some Silicon Valley billionaires aren’t just making tech products – they’ve set their sights on immortality. Social media is flooded with influencers promoting peptides, “functional” mushroom powders and other (often non-evidence-based) hacks said to maximise your lifespan. Some even claim to reverse your “biological age”. The Conversation
