Longevity Conference Makeover - Glycocalyx for Arterial Health - Gen Z Leads the Longevity Economy
Issue 49: The front page of longevity medicine - curated by doctors, for doctors.
Hey Doc,
I just returned from the Super Human conference - energized and reflective. The truth? At every event I attend, what stays with me isn’t the slides or booths. It’s the people. The connections. The experience.

The science and technology? I dive deeper into that after. But it’s the human moments that spark lasting impact.
This week’s newsletter is a special one:
Why we’re reinventing longevity conferences
10 reasons Gen Z is shaping the future of longevity
The Buzz in the chat on Glycocalix
Happy Sunday!
Why We’re Reinventing Longevity Conferences
Most longevity events feel like sales expos. Same molecules. Same booths. Same slide decks.
But that’s not why we’re here.
As one of our Longevity Docs Dr. Elizabeth Yurth said:
“One of the reasons I love being part of these conferences so much isn’t just the science. It’s the people.”
That’s why we redesigned everything.
The Summit Begins Before the Science
We start the night before with a sunset cocktail on the private beach deck of the Majestic Hotel on La Croisette.
Mornings Start with Movement & Community
Each day opens with energy. You can join a run along La Croisette or plunge into the Mediterranean for a saltwater swim. Because community isn’t built in lecture halls, it’s built in shared rituals.

A Studio, Not a Stage
Our sessions aren’t back-to-back PowerPoints.
We’ve turned the conference room into a broadcast studio, cinematic, intimate, interactive. You’ll hear from longevity scientists, tech founders, policymakers, and investors shaping the next decade of health.
Healthy Lunch of the Beach
At most conferences, lunch means a cold ballroom, processed snacks, and a frantic search for fast food. Not with us. Healthy meals will be served on the beach so you can refuel, connect, and stay in flow under the sun.
Longevity Docs Awards Gala
Instead of a loud afterparty, we’ve curated the first-ever Longevity Docs Awards Gala held at the iconic Carlton Grand Salon. Tuxedos. Recognition. Community.
A black-tie celebration for those shaping the future of healthspan.
Private Yacht Party (by invitation only)
The Summit ends with a yacht experience in the port of Cannes because we’re not just talking about longevity. We’re living it.
Tickets Are Limited
Every guest is vetted. Every moment is curated.
If you're ready to step into the circle building the future of medicine
Cannes is calling.
Gen Z Is Redefining the Longevity Economy
The $2T wellness industry isn’t being driven by retirees, it’s being rebuilt by 20-somethings.
According to McKinsey Report, Gen Z and Millennials now account for 41% of global wellness spending. But this isn’t about aesthetics or fads. It’s a new operating system, where longevity starts long before disease.
Here’s why this generation is leading the revolution:
7 reasons why Gen Z will shape the future of Longevity Medicine
They start early: Longevity isn’t for retirement. They optimize mitochondria, sleep, and gut health before 30.
They want proof, not promises: HRV, glucose, blood test - if it’s not backed by data, it doesn’t earn trust.
They’re AI-native: Uploading labs to ChatGPT? Already happening. They expect digital health to speak their language.
They’re skeptical and that’s good: They’ll try your protocol, but they’ll fact-check it before, during, and after.
They think in systems: Not “fix my symptom.” They want interconnected protocols for mind, metabolism, and performance.
They made it social: Longevity is no longer fringe, it’s content, community, and cultural currency.
They’re building the future: Founders, creators, investors—they’re not just joining the longevity economy. They are the economy.
What Longevity Docs Should Do
Reframe protocols: Lead with performance—energy, focus, recovery
Show fast wins: Highlight short-term benefits with long-term impact
Train your team: Understand HRV, sleep scores, biological age
Design Gen Z tracks: Think cognitive fitness, hormone balance, skin health
Partner smart: Work with trusted voices to bridge science and culture
Gen Z isn’t just your future patient.
They’re your now. And if you’re not speaking their language someone else will.
Glycocalyx in the Spotlight
This week, Longevity Docs peers were deeply engaged in discussion around glycocalyx health, sharing protocols, clinical tools, and real-world outcomes.
Do you prefer over exosomes for wound healing?
Increase NO production, Also, improve the endothelial glycocalyx. If possible get a Glycocheck on the patient. If score is low, the above products will help greatly
I agree with the clinical importance of the glycocalyx but the limitation for me is not seeing any changes in clinical outcomes with use of any of those supplements. I havent seen it make any marked changes besides change the measurements in highly specialized and difficult to obtain tests.
I use both EndoPat and Vendys and find them to be similar- which would be expectedGlycocheck may have too much variability to be relied on definitively
The studies on the supplements that are widely marketed (ie Aterosil) do not have good data to back them up- expensive placebos
The newer “quick” Glycocheck systems may lack reproducibility however we have one of the research models that all the major research universities use. Having done hundreds of Glycocheck tests and repeat tests on multiple people I can tell you we have no issues with reproducibility. Further, I can also say that we do see significant improvement in scores with Endocalyx Pro and RegeneVasc. I have only tested one person on Arterosil. He had a very high score. So, my experience is that the supplements do work and are not “expensive placebos”. Perhaps we have great reproducibility because I do the test myself on all the patients rather than have a tech do them. There is a bit of an art to performing the test.
Takeaway for Clinicians
Combine objective monitoring tools (e.g., Glycocheck, EndoPAT) with lifestyle and dietary protocols to support glycocalyx health.
Consider evidence-backed supplements (like glucosamine/fucoidan blends) only after monitoring and alongside lifestyle interventions.
What to Watch
Upcoming trials using glycocalyx-focused interventions for aging, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
Emerging point-of-care endothelial assessments that might make glycocalyx monitoring accessible in longevity clinics.
