Inside Longevity Docs Cannes
Issue 51: The front page of longevity medicine - curated by doctors, for doctors.
Hey Doc,
What happened in Cannes was truly special a moment of purpose, connection, and momentum we all shared.
I want to start by saying thank you:
To the speakers who shared their knowledge,
To the doctors who came from all over the world,
To our partners who believed in this vision,
And to the team who worked so hard to make it all happen.
This summit was built by all of you, and this is just the beginning.
All of it aligned with our mission to democratize longevity medicine and build a better future, together.
Here’s a look inside.
Welcome Mocktail

I’ve always believed in the power of community. Learning from one another is how we build trust, forge deep connections, and create lasting friendships. And there’s no better way to kick off a summit than with mocktails by the Mediterranean Sea, on the French Riviera, at Noom Beach - graciously hosted by Noom CEO Geoff Cook.
Movement
We kicked off the day with a sunrise run along La Croisette, because at Longevity Docs, we don’t just talk longevity, we live it.
Red Carpet
Longevity Docs from around the world came together to unite and shape the future of longevity medicine. Cannes has long celebrated movie stars on the red carpet, but this time, it was the doctors who took center stage. From honoring Hippocrates' oath to sharing knowledge, the spotlight was on those redefining the future of health.
Summit
Dr. Eric Verdin, President of the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, opened the conference with a powerful call to define (and defend) what longevity medicine truly is. He emphasized that longevity must remain rooted in rigorous science, clinical data, and continuous medical education. In a field increasingly crowded with hype, Dr. Verdin reminded us that the future lies not in trends, but in translational research. He highlighted phenomics as the key to unlocking data-driven, personalized interventions that will reshape how we prevent and treat aging-related diseases.

One of the most anticipated moments: Vania Lacascade, Chief Innovation Officer at L’Oréal, officially announced her new role as President of Lancôme, and unveiled L’Oréal’s bold new longevity vision, powered by diagnostics, supplements, and AI. A new era for beauty and health has begun.
Later, leaders from SHA Wellness (Alejandro Bataller), Wild Health (Dr. Matt Dawson), and Osler Health (Dr. Foong Tsin Uin) took the stage to share insider strategies on building high-impact memberships and transformative client experiences. The conversation was expertly moderated by Dr. Anant Vinjamoori, former Chief Medical Officer of Modern Age.
I had the honor of moderating the Longevity City panel alongside Lorraine Cortés-Vázquez, New York City Commissioner for the Aging; Dr. Mohammad Alhammad, Health Sector Manager of NEOM in Saudi Arabia; and Thomas de Pariente, Deputy Mayor of Cannes. Together, we explored how cities can become engines of longevity: designing the infrastructure, policies, and culture needed to support longevity for all.
In a powerful TED Talk–style keynote sessions, Dr. Amy Killen took the stage and lit up the room with her bold Beast Mode framework: a provocative, science-backed approach to hormone optimization designed to unlock peak performance, vitality, and longevity. Next, Dr. Elizabeth Yurth delivered a masterclass in cellular health, guiding the audience through the interconnected worlds of musculoskeletal resilience, mitochondrial function, and the root causes of age-related decline.
On the Entrepreneurship Stage, a high-impact fireside chats brought together Naveen Jain (Viome), Dr. Darshan Shah (Next Health), and Giorgos Tsetis (Nutrafol): three visionary founders who’ve each built companies rooted in purpose. We learned how they built world-class teams, stayed anchored in mission, and embraced bold ambition to drive innovation in the rapidly evolving field of personalized longevity.
Connections

Beyond the scientific sessions, we gathered at the Vibrant Lounge for curated networking and at Zenos Beach for open-air lunches by the sea. These moments reminded us that the true power of Longevity Docs lies in connection, where ideas spark, partnerships form, and visions grow. From launching new practices to building infrastructure for large-scale longevity projects, this community is here to scale together.
Awards & Gala
Remember when we said it was time to celebrate the pioneers of medicine the same way we honor Hippocrates? Cannes made that vision real. In the Grand Salon of the Carlton, we rolled out the red carpet not for celebrities, but for the doctors, researchers, and innovators shaping the future of human health.
Longevity Doctor of the Year: Dr. Darshan Shah founder of Next Health for scaling longevity care to more people,
Consumer Longevity Product: Chris Rinsch (Timeline) for its science backed supplement investing in clinical trials
Research Contribution: Dr. Dobri Kiprov & Dr. Eric Verdin for their pioneering work in plasmapheresis and the biological mechanisms of aging.
Thank you and see you next year!
